The 25 January 2010 Steve Jobs presented to the world his latest creation: iPad, the expected tablet of Apple.
Apple invited the publishing industry to implement “new innovative solutions for iPad” e and Vidiemme, thanks to its skills developed in iPhone Application world and Digital Publishing Solutions is ready to meet the request and is now ready to launch its first iPad Application.
Vidiemme made, under the creative supervision of Andy Cameron (Executive Director of Fabrica) and Erik Ravelo (Creative Director of Fabrica and of Colors magazine), Colors Magazine, the iPad Application of the Fabrica's newspaper.
At launch the focus of the application will be the first magazine of 1991, now unobtainable in its printed version, and soon available on iPad.
The application also will include a home page from which to access to the archive of Colors, which will gradually be submitted - in addition to historical numbers - the latest releases of 2010.
In the newsstand, for each magazine can be displayed, in addition to the cover, some information about the contents of the number, a preview of the summary and the full content, after the in App purchase of a single number.
The contents of historical numbers will be revised to be indexed and searchable, while the latest numbers will bring on iPad all the multimediality of print versions, like the video posted on the pages.
