In February, multinational consulting firm BIP finalized its 100% acquisition of Vidiemme.

The aim of the operation is to further enrich BIP’s offer, with Vidiemme’s skills in terms of innovation completing the group’s integrated end-to-end offer: from BIP Consulting to Experience Design with Sketchin – a Group member, leader in design thinking – to Vidiemme’s development of web, mobile and frontier technological solutions.

VDM Labs’presence in San Francisco will also allow the Group to develop projects not yet present on the Italian market, and to experiment the potential of future technologies with companies, applied to specific areas and businesses.

Vidiemme, with its 100 employees and increasing turnover, will maintain its own corporate identity, acting in close synergy with the other protagonists of the Group’s offer process. Vidiemme can boast experience gained in a variety of sectors, such as Fashion & Luxury, Retail, Finance & Banking and Pharma & Healthcare.

Thanks to its strong orientation towards innovation and its constant research into the latest technologies, Vidiemme is also among Gartner’s best 20 Representative Global Vendors for Conversational AI.

“We strongly desired and supported the choice of a partner on the cutting-edge of innovation, like Vidiemme, because for BIP it represents the completion of an end-to-end digital offer, essential for our growth plan and for strengthening the Group’s position as an Italian excellence in the world”, comments Fabio Troiani,  BIP CEO.

“This acquisition completes the path that has seen us evolve over the years from Software House to Technology Advisor, with an increasingly consultative approach: the technology and innovation we offer have a wider value than the simple implementation of digital solutions. Being part of a group like BIP allows us to further increase this value and sends a strong message to our customers and the market”, continues Luca Valsecchi, Vidiemme’s founder and CEO.
