For more than 10 years Vidiemme has been developing innovative digital solutions thanks to a heterogeneous team with a special passion for technology. Each expert owns intrinsic differences and for this reason values such as diversity of thought, expression, genre, education and age form the foundation of our organization.

From the beginning Vidiemme has favored a corporate culture based on the enhancement of the differences of each individual, aimed at improving personal and organizational performances, priorities in line with those of big corporations.

“We are a company that defines itself D&I by design: our people are placed at the center so that each of them has the chance to express their potential and talent” says Silvia, Co-Founder and Client Partner of Vidiemme, who recently took part as speaker in the D&I Week organized by Bip Group.

This results for the company in better performance, benefiting both business and the working atmosphere, and contributing to an augment of the value of work, both internally and externally, with a strong satisfaction and retention of customers.

Day by day inclusiveness: our projects

“Besides using Inclusive Design techniques, we utilize technologies and programming languages having among their core components the instruments to make an application accessible by design” underlines Silvia.

With a view to inclusiveness, in these years Vidiemme developed digital solutions in support of user categories with specific needs for socially committed customers.

“In 2012 we invested in FingerTalks, giving life to two mobile applications to help children with autism and dyscalculia. Moreover, we have been actively supporting Dynamo Camp for years, both with digital solutions and participating in their activities in quality of donors. We also developed and supported pro bono solutions like the Roche’s website of the initiative “A fianco del coraggio” where for many years the testimonies of cancer patients’ caregivers were collected”.

Moreover, from the beginning of the pandemic Vidiemme has been working with Fondazione Soleterre for the development of a website supporting a network of psychologists available on the whole national territory to guarantee psychological support to Coronavirus patients and their relatives. Finally, with the Voice solution “LeggoxTe” for Takeda, Vidiemme allowed people with blindness and visually impaired people to access to a set of medical information using the hearing, until then denied to this user base.

D&I by design

“We live diversity and inclusion as a continuous dialogue and as a precious occasion and opportunity to grow” Silvia concludes her speech.

Vidiemme has always been valorizing and taking care of diversity and inclusion, starting from the people composing its team, thanks to a corporate culture consisting of intra-company concrete actions, such as informal moments of sharing and corporate events, in addition to those business-related actions ensuring efficacy.

The result? A company made up of more than 100 employees balanced from a gender point of view and as far as concern the relation between juniority and seniority, that enables to bring together desire to explore and expertise to propose innovative solutions, but even from an educational point of view, always bringing attention to people and their talents.
