After the significant growth recorded in 2015, the positive trend continued in 2016 too. Vidiemme Consulting closed 2016 with a turnover of 4.3 million euros, a good 10% more than in 2015.

In fact, this year the company broke the record in turnover since its foundation in 2004.

The increase in turnover also brings with it a growth in profits, staff and clients.

Vidiemme grows, recording an increase of the share capital to €100,000, thanks to the participation of collaborators who’ve been involved with the company from the very first years of its foundation, entering with a company share of around 10%.

The economic result integrates the strategic actions implemented: it was possible to respond to an enlargement of the client portfolio thanks to the entry of new and important resources into the company staff, both in development and project management.

Vidiemme gave a great boost to innovation thanks to the stable presence of its subsidiary VDM Labs in San Francisco, active since 2015 but which in 2016 consolidated its business development activities and Brainy, Vidiemme’s internal research and development laboratory, was created.

“The 2016 budget and all the activities supporting this growth that we have achieved, and we are continuing to implement and increase, show that we have taken an important path for the future of Vidiemme – commented Luca Valsecchi, CEO of the Milan software house – This year confirmed the breakthrough recorded last year, consolidating the positive growth trend observed in the past”.

In line with this positioning project, Vidiemme adhered to various initiatives that allowed it to contact and confront with a series of realities that were both sources of inspiration, motivation and possible collaborations.

These include Italia Startup, an associative network that, four years after its foundation, has consolidated its presence as the main interlocutor for the world of institutions and companies, national and international, who want to engage with the national startup ecosystem.

“Italia Startup has 1800 members and aims to encourage the meeting of emerging and consolidated entrepreneurial companies, in a logic of Open Innovation and Corporate Venture Capital – continues Valsecchi – All combined with the desire to valorize the numerous Italian excellences spread throughout Italy while maintaining active dialogue with the Institutions on economic, fiscal and regulatory issues of interest for the Italian innovation world; all themes that have always been important at Vidiemme”.

An integral part of this positioning is participation in Milan Polytechnic’s Observatories, which is a constant in the company strategy. In 2016 Vidiemme participated in the Digital Innovation in Cultural Heritage and Activities Observatory, in its first edition. The collaboration with the Observatories will also continue in 2017, with participation in the Observatory dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking.

Launched in 2016 and confirmed for 2017 is the collaboration with the publications that are part of the Digital 360 panorama, a leading group in Italy in the B2B offer of editorial content, communication and marketing services, lead generation, events and webinars, advisory, advocacy and coaching, in the context of Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurial Innovation.

Good premises for 2017, proving it’s now tradition for Vidiemme to innovate in bringing innovation.
